I just wanted to draw Ayato. 🙂
Kamisato Ayato is a character from Genshin Impact that I really like. He’s a playable Hydro character and serves as the head of the Kamisato Clan, holding the position of Yashiro Commissioner. Known for his strategic thinking, Ayato is resourceful and cunning, always finding ways to achieve his goals with careful planning. While his sister, Ayaka, is more prominent publicly, Ayato prefers to maintain a low profile, focusing primarily on governmental affairs within the Commission.
Despite his reserved nature, Ayato’s role comes with immense responsibility, making him incredibly busy and often stressed. He not only handles corrupt officials within the government but also oversees the Shuumatsuban. Because of his many duties, Ayato isn’t fond of small talk and tends to be direct, expecting others to get to the point quickly. Though he remains within legal boundaries, he employs a variety of clever methods to deal with those who abuse their power, making him a sharp and formidable leader behind the scenes.
Well, if you’ve seen my Ayato Birthday art, you would’ve known who he is and how I like him a lot. But, I still need to include the introductions because it’s a different blog.
In the initial sketch. I gave him fox ears and tail, I don’t know why I did it, I guess it was just on impulse? But, I ended up colouring the ears and tail, too. It’s just not shown here. Well, if you want to see it, it’s in the timelapse of this drawing which you can see in my Instagram.
Anyway I was just trying out new styles for this drawing and seeing if it would turn out well. Because I drew this back when I was still a beginner. Still, I still think it turned out pretty decent for my beginner days.
I didn’t have much difficulty drawing this since it was a pretty simple concept. Well, the clothing wrinkles could use some fixing, but well… It’s not bad.
Fun fact:
The card in the art was imported from Google (it was originally gold).
I drew the background myself, which is a bit of a milestone for me, even though it’s simple.
